A portrait exploration about identity, truth, insecurity and how much of ourselves we allow an image to hold.

The starting point was the honesty and restraint of Gucci portraiture, but the real question was personal: what happens when that visual language passes through my own culture, perspective and creative instinct?
Color, styling, posture and directness became tools for pushing past performance and toward something more exposed. The work sits in the tension between how we present ourselves and what we are actually carrying underneath. The goal was not imitation but translation.
